Map Animation Integrations
Mappi exports clean, watermark-free 4K MP4 files that behave like regular footage in every editing tool. Pick your editor below for a step-by-step import guide, or follow the same three-step workflow in any other editor you use.
Written guides for the most popular editors
Each guide covers the full workflow for that tool: build your map animation in Mappi, export it in the right aspect ratio, and import it with the exact panels, buttons, and shortcuts that editor uses.

Works with any video editor, no plugin required
Mappi renders standard MP4 video files, the same format your camera footage uses. There is nothing to install and no plugin to keep updated. If your editor can import an MP4, it can use a Mappi map animation, including tools not listed above like Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Filmora, and Kdenlive. The workflow is the same everywhere.
- Step 1
Create your map in Mappi
Search for your destinations, connect them with animated routes, and pick a cinematic map theme. Choose the aspect ratio that matches your project: 9:16, 16:9, 4:5, or 1:1.
- Step 2
Export a watermark-free MP4
Render your animation as a clean 4K MP4 file with no watermark. You can also export with a transparent background to overlay the map on top of your own footage.
- Step 3
Import it into your editor
Bring the file into your editor the same way you import camera footage. From there, trim it, layer text over it, grade it, and cut it into your edit like any other clip.
Add a moving map to your next edit
Create your map animation in Mappi, export it in 4K, and finish the edit in the tool you already know. Free to try, no keyframing required.
Mappi is the simplest way to create stunning animated maps. Perfect for YouTubers, journalists, and storytellers.
