The Real Estate Agent's Guide to Animated Map Videos

Buyers shortlist the neighborhood before they shortlist the house. An animated map puts the location story (commute, schools, coffee) on screen in the first ten seconds of a listing video, before a single interior shot rolls.
Show the neighborhood, not a boundary line
In the editor's search bar, open the Regions tab and click the suburb or district. It gets a soft animated fill that fades in around the property. The Region Selector handles states and cities the same one-click way when a relocation buyer needs the wider picture first. Either way, the highlight animates in over a second or two. That reads far more premium than a static outline pasted on a screenshot.
Answer buyer questions on the map
Drop pins on the school, the station, and the grocery store, then style each with Label Styler so names stay readable over streets.
Add callout lines with walk times. "7 min to the station" sells harder than a distance. The full walkthrough is in how to add custom labels and callouts to map videos.
Time each callout's reveal to match your voiceover instead of showing everything at once.
Reuse the template across listings
Build this once and it becomes your listing template. Swap the pins, update the callouts, and re-export. The second video takes ten minutes, and every property in your portfolio gets the same polished open.
Then top every tour with a city-to-doorstep zoom built in Camera Director.
