Route Builder: Create Multi-Stop Animated Map Routes

The route is the spine of every travel map video, and building one should not feel like GIS homework. Route Builder turns a plain list of stops into a finished animated journey in a couple of minutes.
Add stops from the Route dock
- Open the bottom dock and select Route.
- Search for your first stop and add it, then repeat for every city, trailhead, or port on the itinerary.
- Drag any stop to reorder it. The path redraws instantly, so you can test a different order without starting over.
That is the whole flow, whether you are plotting a weekend loop or want to animate a road trip route with multiple stops across an entire country.
Pick a travel mode for every leg
Each leg can move the way the real journey did. Choose fly for a great-circle arc (the fastest way to animate a flight path between two cities) or drive to snap the line to real roads. Walk and train cover hikes and rail trips, while sail is built to animate ocean and sailing routes with a wake trailing the ship.
Set the pace, then let the camera follow
Per-leg duration is separate from mode: let a short hop flash by in a second while the scenic stretch gets room to breathe. Once the stops and timing are set, hand the shot to Camera Director and the camera will follow every leg on its own.
When the path looks right, give its pacing a final polish with Motion Curves, which has easing presets built specifically for map motion.
