Three presets cover most videos
Open a clip's settings and switch to the Motion tab. Three presets are tuned specifically for map motion:
Gentle Glide. Long, soft ramps for scenic moves. Reach for it when you want to slow down map zooms for a cinematic effect.
Overshoot. The camera pushes slightly past its target and snaps back. Energetic, and great for reveals.
Hold-and-Snap. A deliberate pause, then a fast cut to the next beat. Built for punchy social edits.
Or drag your own curve
Below the presets sits a draggable bezier editor. Pull the handles and the preview updates live, so you can shape a curve that eases out over five seconds or slams to a stop in ten frames. It applies to any animated property: route draws, label reveals, and every shot you stage in Camera Director.
Where easing earns its keep
The highest-impact place to spend a curve is the opening shot: a map zoom-in intro with a gentle ease-out lands completely differently than a linear dive.
Smooth curves deserve smooth playback, and Mappi's render engine exports every frame at a locked 60 fps so your easing survives the trip to the final file.
