How to Make an Animated Travel Map Video for YouTube
A polished travel map can carry an entire YouTube intro, and you can build one in Mappi in a single sitting, first pin to finished file. Here's the full 16:9 workflow.
Lay down the route
Open the bottom dock, choose Route, and add each city of the trip as a stop in Route Builder. Mix travel modes per leg: fly into the first city, then drive between the rest. Reorder stops until the journey reads correctly, and keep per-leg durations around two to four seconds so the pacing stays tight enough for an intro.
Style the map and the open
In the right panel, pick a look that matches your channel. Theme Studio lets you tune land, water, roads, and labels when a preset is close but not quite right. Then build a map zoom-in intro for your videos so the animation opens wide and dives into your first stop.
Export for YouTube
Set the aspect ratio to 16:9 before rendering.
